Owen Oyston was today sentenced to six years in prison for raping and indecently assaulting a 16-year-old girl. Mr Justice McCullough told him: “You were 58, she was 16. You were rich and powerful with a strong personality. She was young and vulnerable.” The judge told Liverpool Crown Court that it was impossible to know to what extent Miss B has been traumatised by her ordeal. In 2012 the debt stood at ?176k and this has now increased to ?640k during the 2012/13 financial period. It was only during 2012/13 that the hotel actually commenced trading, with the accounts listing the precise date as 26th July 2012. That means the accounts cover approximately 10 months of trading. During that period, the hotel company achieved turnover of ?859k, so it?s safe to assume this would have topped ?1m with a full year?s trading. Jeffrey Rentmeister is accused of driving a BMW X5 with excess alcohol and without insurance. Nile Ranger has told Blackpool he will return to training in two weeks time. The striker hasn?t turned up for training since the start of November last year following a row over his wages at Bloomfield Road. After blasting his Blackpool contract as ?a joke? supporters were stunned when Pool activated an option to tie him to the club for another 12 months. Fred Barber has joined Neil McDonald’s backroom staff as the club’s new goalkeeping coach. The 51-year-old, who spent a brief time on loan at Blackpool as a player, replaces Bobby Mimms who has moved to Bolton Wanderers in the same role. Barber arrives at Bloomfield Road with 19 years of coaching experience with the likes of Bolton Wanderers, West Brom, York City, Burton Albion, Bury, and most recently Crewe Alexandra.
